Transfer

  • Upon prior reservation Casa do Amarelindo is able to organize your transfer from and to Salvador International Airport (about 35km / 23mi)
  • We can also organize this service from/to Salvador´s North Cost beach cities like Praia do Forte and Costa do Sauipe Resorts.

    Taxis

    • Official taxis are available most of the time at Terreiro de Jesus Square just 125 meters (410 ft.) from the hotel.
    • On arrival we recommend insisting with the driver that the hotel location is inside Pelourinho pedestrian district. As the hotel is located in the Rua das Portas do Carmo, 06, some taxi drivers may drive you by mistake to the Carmo district, nearby from Pelourinho. It may also be useful for some taxi drivers to know that the former name of our street was Rua Alfredo de Brito and that the hotel is located just beside the old Medicine University, close to Terreiro de Jesus Square.

    Uber and similars

    • Please note that Pelourinho district is pedestrian and NOT accessible to private cars like Uber or similar..!!
    • Access to the hotel street (rua das Portas do Carmo) is allowed only for taxi and authorized transportation vehicles.
